This is a wonderful early 1950s mens overcoat, possibly late 1940s, . This 1950s mens overcoat has padded squared shoulders, high set medium width peaked lapels and a three button front. There is a large flapped patch pocket at either side and the sleeves have a button down tab at either cuff. The exterior is made of a medium weight wool tweed in a salt and pepper weave. This coat has a 16 1/2” centre kick vent and is half lined in a grey satin fabric.

Sizing: There is no size tag but this mens overcoat should fit a medium to large size, probably about a US size 40-42, depending on if you want to wear a suit jacket underneath. Please note the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 19” from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Sleeves: 25 1/2” from the shoulder seam
Sleeve Inseam: 17”
Chest: 45” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 46” around
Hips: 47” around
Length: 45 1/2”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam
Condition: This 1950s mens overcoat is in excellent condition, surprising for its age, with no noted wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour.
