Antique Button Hook Figural Victorian Shoe and Leg Black Bakelite

This is an antique button hook that is made in the form of a leg wearing a Victorian era shoe. It is made of some type of early black plastic, I would think bakelite, although I m not sure. This antique button hook is part of the collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. It measures 5 1/2 in length - the figural part measures 2 7/8 in length. It is in very good condition - note that the hook turns.
This is a hard to find button hook - nice addition to a collection!
