Antique Chess Players Figurine German Porcelain Figural Group

This is an antique porcelain figural group figurine featuring 18th century court couple playing chess while another lady looks on. The piece is handpainted. The only marks are on the underside - the number 18 painted onto the edge and V35 incised into the porcelain. This is of German origin and, I believe, originally would covered a base with two inkwells, the reason why there is a deep cavity to the interior of the piece. Aside from this, unfortunately, the ladys hand is missing and one of the chess pieces is broken off and missing - this is being sold AS IS. The piece measures 4 1/2 by 6 across its base and 5 1/4 in height.
Despite the missing base and missing hand, this still displays well - sold AS IS at a very reasonable price, great for the chess player.
