This is a lovely semi-porcelain flow blue plate made in the Dresden pattern by Grimwades Ltd of Stoke on Trent, active from 1900 until 1964. The British registry number of 110352 dates the design to 1888, however, this plate probably dates to the 1900 to 1906 period. This is a particularly nice example with deep inky blue decoration arranged around the rim only. The plate is in very good condition with the exception of a small edge chip to the underside edge that barely shows from the top view (see close-up photo) and a few utensil marks to the centre of the plate, quite minor, The pattern is accented in gold, all intact, although not all visible in the photos.
The plate measures 9 5/8 in diameter. This is a lovely piece of flow blue that doesnt appear to be common - very nice wall hanger or kitchen cabinet display piece!
