Antique Merry Christmas Milk Glass Dish Happy New Year Applique

This is an antique milk glass dish with a glass appliqu that reads Merry Christmas in gold along with Happy New Year. The appliqu is constructed with the decal or print applied to the underside of a glass piece. Unfortunately, the glass appliqu had been glued to the dish, but the glue, being old, failed, and the piece fell and broke into two pieces. You would need to re-glue the piece and should be able to hide the crack better than I did in the photo - Ill ship the item wrapped in three individual pieces. There is a bit of gold missing at the edge, but otherwise, the dish is in very good condition. The dish measures 6 in diameter. Despite the damage, this is a wonderful addition to an antique Christmas collection!
