This is a wonderful pair of woven cotton antique “drawers”, a type of underwear used by ladies during the 19th century. What sets this pair apart is the beautiful weave in the fabric - please view the extreme close-up in the last photo. Drawers are very often open at the crotch to enable hygienic care, but this pair is closed. They are constructed with an opening at the back with a drawstring through the waistband. The fabric is gathered in small tucks under the waistband. The bottom of the legs are trimmed in eyelet embroidery.
Sizing: These should fit a medium size, but please rely on the following measurements for fit taking the style of the garment into account:
Waist: 29” around
Hips: 49” around
Length: 25 1/2”, measured flat at the bottom of the lace on the leg
Leg inseam: 12”
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or stains.
