Art Deco Glass Cocktail Shaker Derby Shelton Connecticut w Silver Rings & Chrome Top

This is an art deco cocktail shaker made of clear glass and decorated with concentric silver rings. Im unsure as to who made the glass, perhaps the West Virginia Glass company of Weston, WV, but the chrome top was made by the Derby Shelton company of Connecticut. Derby Shelton specialized in cocktail shaker fittings and were responsible for the metal ware on the iconic Lady Leg cocktail shaker. This cocktail shaker has a smaller top than normally seen and the shaker has a wonderful shape that tapers to the bottom. The piece measures 12 1/4 in height to the top of the spout. The spout has a strainer in it. This cocktail shaker is in very good condition with no wear, chips, cracks or dings to the chromed top. This is a wonderful cocktail shaker - great tool to make a variety of drinks and a classy bar display item!
