This is a wonderful bracelet made by Canadian modernist jeweller Rafael Alfandary. Alfandary was born in Belgrade, trained in Israel as an engineer, and moved to Toronto in the 70s, where he began making jewelry. He is probably the best known of the Canadian modernist jewellers, and had a large following, counting amongst his customers Margaret Trudeau, Lorne Green, Liberace, Muhammad Ali, Redd Foxx and Paul Anka. This bracelet is made of three brass links, each piece embedded with a red Murano glass cabochon. The bracelet closes with a link chain at either end. It measures 7 1/2” in length and is in very good condition except for some wear to the backside, where the metal would contact the skin. I have not tried to clean or polish the piece in any way. This is a quality piece - great addition to a Canadian modernist jewelry collection!
