Chiara Boni Dress La Petite Robe Couture Black with Leaf Applique Size M L

This is a pre-owned dress made in Italy under the “Chiara Boni La Petite Robe” couture label. The dress is black “chiffon” over an opaque base - the chiffon/semi-transparent fabric has leaf shapes applied to it over the top 2/3 of the dress.  The neckline is made in a bateau/boat shape and in an “illusion” style so that the leaf shapes are very visible.  The dress has cap sleeves, a defined waistline and is cut so that the skirt falls in drapes in a mid-calf length.  It has no closures, it is made in a step-in and pull up style and is meant to be form fitting.  The dress is pure black, but my photos are lightened in order to show the detail of the leaf appliqués.

Label:  Chiara Boni La Petite Robe Made in Italy / Couture.   

Material: The label is missing, but generally Chiara Boni uses a polyamide/elastane fabric that hugs the body, but still breathes, so is comfortable to wear. 

Sizing: The size label is also missing, but the lady from whom this was acquired normally wears a US size 12 - please rely on the following exterior measurements for fit, taking the stretch of the fabric and the style of the dress into account (compare measurements with a similar dress that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment into account):

Bust: 36” around, unstretched

Waist:30” around

Hips: 36” around

Overall length: 46”, measured flat

Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. Although pre-owned, this dress looks to have seen little use and was well stored and cared for.

Excellent design - this was originally a very expensive dress, so this is an opportunity to own a wonderful dress for a fraction of its original price….
