This is beautiful quality costume jewelry set made by Ciner of New York. This vintage 70s demi parure consists of a necklace and bracelet made in a gold toned metal. Both pieces feature rows of gold toned “beads”. They are quite heavy and of obvious high quality, weighing 13.5 oz together.
Age: most likely 1970s - the copyrighted Ciner mark in capital sans serif lettering began to be used in 1955, and as far as I can tell, was used through the 1960s into the 70s. Ciner was founded in 1892 as a fine jeweler, but began production of quality costume jewelry during the early 1930s, basing their designs on fine jewelry.
Size: The bracelet measures 15” in length along the inside (top) edge. It has a width of 3/4”. The bracelet measures 7 1/2” in length with a width of 3/4”.
Condition: Both pieces are in excellent condition with the exception of a small square area next to the male catch on the bracelet, very minor, and a bit of wear to the female catch on the bracelet - neither is visible while the bracelet is being worn.
This is a beautifully made set, very sophisticated - Ciner is known for making exceptional quality costume jewelry ....
