Elegant Glass Centerpiece Bowl with Silver Overlay Orchid Flower Ptn Triangular

This is a triangular shaped centerpiece bowl dating to the elegant glass era of the 1920s and 1930s. It is made of amber coloured glass and has an orchid floral motif that is overlaid in silver on the glass - this is thickly laid on, not silver deposit. The design appears three times and the edge is also finished in silver. It is a fairly large piece, measuring 12 by 11 1/2 with a height of 2 7/8 at the corners - it weighs 2 lbs and 14 oz. It has a foot that almost looks like an indent from the top, but the interior of the bowl naturally slopes down to the center. This is a beautiful quality display piece - would fit into any decor!
