Large Antique Plaster Head of Jesus Christ Wearing Thorns 10 As Is

This is a fairly large head made of plaster, portraying Jesus wearing a crown of thorns. This was most likely taken from a corpus (body). It looks to me to have some age, and my best guess would be that this dates to the early part of the 20th century. I am selling the piece AS IS - please view the various photos taken from every angle for condition. The side opposite the head is shorter but the piece is asymmetrical (head in a slanted posture) so this doesnt affect the display of the piece, depending on how you pose it. You can see from the photos that there are surface flakes, the largest being at the left temple of the forehead. I do believe that surface plaster can be fairly easily repaired if you know how. The piece measures 10 in height by 8 with a depth of 10. You can see in the photos that the plaster is reinforced with some type hair-like material. This is wonderful display piece for a religious decor - with a bit of TLC, itll be great in the right setting.
