Vintage 1950s Royal Albert Bone China Tea Cup & Saucer Cabbage Roses w Gold

This is a lovely cup and saucer set made by Royal Albert featuring red and pink cabbage roses trimmed in gold. The cup is decorated both on the exterior and on the interior rim - the saucer is similarly decorated. Both pieces are trimmed in gold gilt and the cup has a gold foot and gold trimmed handle. The mark on the underside of each piece was used during the 1950s. The set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear - there is an indent on the edge of the saucer, but this appears to be original to the manufacture of the piece (see last close-up photo). The saucer measures 5 5/8 in diameter and the cup has a top diameter of 3 3/4. This is a beautiful display cup and saucer.great addition to a collection!
