Vintage 1960s Handbag Purse Embossed Velvet & Silk

This is a wonderful vintage 1960s brown silk and embossed velvet handbag purse. The purse has no label, so Im unsure of its maker or origin, but it is of very good quality. The velvet design is in a greenish brown tone against white, intersected by silver grey toned cording while the silk body is in brown. The hardware is all gold toned. The purse closes and opens with a push button clasp and with the aid of a chain. The interior has a compartment on either side and a matching change purse. The purse measures 11 in width and 5 in depth at its bottom with a height of 6 3/4, excluding the handle - the handle has a drop of 5 1/2. It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear - there is a bit of discolouration to the lining at the bottom side of the lining, fairly minor issue. The purse sits on four gold toned metal feet, but is leaning to one side - I think that this can be corrected. There may be other small signs of wear, but nothing of consequence. Beautiful quality - striking 60s handbag!
