Vintage 1980s Rosenthal Studio Linie Terra Series Fondue Pot by Wolf Karnagel

This is a Studio Linie porcelain fondue pot made by Rosenthal Germany as part of the Terra Series by Wolf Karnagel. The piece is glazed in grey. It has a stainless steel insert and a porcelain top rim and lid. The burner is missing, but these are easy and inexpensive to replace. The piece measures 8 in height and 7 by about 9 across its handles. The underside is stamped Rosenthal Studio-linie Germany. I believe that this bowl was produced during the 1980s. The porcelain is in excellent condition with no noted defect while the stainless steel pot has some scratching on the interior bottom and evidence of burning on the exterior bottom (see photos), normal for a fondue pot that has seen use. This Terra grey glaze appears to be very difficult to come by - superior Rosenthal quality!
