Vintage Canadian Legion Lapel Pin British Empire Service League

This is a vintage lapel pin that was issued to veterans belonging to the Canadian Legion. The Canadian Legion was established in 1925 as an association for veterans of the First World War. The pin is made of copper that is inlaid with red and blue enamel. It is quite small, measuring 5/8 tall by about 1/2 wide. It bears the mark of the maker C. Lamond Montreal. It is in very good condition - might have a bit of verdigris, but this can be cleaned off. It still retains its original wheel on the back screw. Nice addition to a collection.
