This is a vintage silver plated sugar bowl used in a dining car on the Canadian Pacific Railway. It is engraved in the centre of one side with the initials "CPR" in cursive script. The underside of the piece is stamped Canada Marlboro Plate by Morton-Parker E.P.N.S. 604 67. It measures 5 3/8 in width across the handles with a height of about 3 1/8 - it weighs 9.9 oz. It is in very good condition, a tiny ding under one handle, very minimal, and otherwise without any pronounced wear. The silver plating has a bit of tarnish and would look very good with a polishing. Morton-Parker was founded in 1945, but I cant imagine that the CPR used the cursive logo much later than that, so I would date this piece to the late 1940s. You don't see these CPR silverplate pieces very often - really nice quality and fairly heavy for its size and designed for repetitive use. Nice addition to a CPR dining collection.
