Vintage Danish Sterling Silver Brooch Viking Ship Carl Ove Frydensberg Hand Made

This is a lovely quality sterling silver hand made brooch that is stamped on the backside with COF 925S Denmark Haandarbejde. The COF stands for Carl Ove Frydensberg and 925S stands for sterling quality silver. Carl Ove Frydensberg was active from 1949 until 1982. The brooch is made to represent a Viking sailing ship. It measures 1 3/8 in diameter and weighs 8 grams (a little over 1/4 oz). It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear. This brooch is solid, not hollow, and expertly hand made - Danish quality. Nice lapel decoration for the Viking fan - this sterling silver brooch is sure to be noticed!
