Vintage First Nations Ditidaht Totem Pole by Joseph Shaw Nitinaht British Columbia 6.5

This is a wood totem pole carved by Joseph Shaw, a member of the Ditidaht Indian nation. The Ditidaht people occupy their traditional Nitinaht territory located in British Columbia, Canada. This was probably made as a tourist piece. It measures 6 1/2 in height and is signed on the back Joseph Shaw Nitinaht Indian. It is in very good condition except that the nail on the bottom is protruded, so the piece is a little unsteady - this can easily be remedied.
