Vintage Royal Doulton Figurine Monica HN1467 1931 L Harradine

This is a figurine made by Royal Doulton, called Monica model number HN1467. Monica was modelled by Leslie Harradine and first issued in 1931 - it was retired in 1955, but I believe re-issued later on and produced until 1995. She is marked with the Royal Doulton backstamp in green on the underside and hand inscribed in green with the model number HN1467, and the decorators initials HF. There is no date number next to the backstamp, so Im unsure of its precise age. The piece measures 4 1/4 in height with a bottom measurement of 3 1/2 by 3 3/4. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Check her facial features - the earlier Doulton figurines were very expressive compared to later issues. This is a very pretty figurine and an earlier issue than often seen offered - lovely display piece!
