Vintage Studio Pottery Cave Art Wall Plaque Bowl Shaped Signed

This is a vintage studio pottery wall plaque made in an oblong bowl-like shape and decorated with a prehistoric cave art design. The backside is incised with the artists signature, which is quite stylized - I read F Cruz, but it could be something else altogether. The potter used red clay to create the piece. It is difficult to date, but my guess is 1970s. The piece measures 8 1/4 by 10 and has a height of about 1 1/2“ at the edge. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear.
