WWII Canadian Red Cross Society Badge Enamel Bronze By Birks

This is a vintage WWII Canadian Red Cross Society badge made of enamelled bronze. The badge is made in the form of a maple leaf and the enamel is in red and gold against white. The back is marked Birks - Birks was a high end jeweller known as the Tiffanys of the North. The back has a pin and a C type clasp. The badge measures 1 7/8 by 1 7/8. It is in very good condition - a bit of yellowish discolouration, but this is really not at all noticeable under normal viewing.
