This is a pair of antique boots dating to the 1908-1920 period.  They are made in a ladies’ brown leather lace-up style with 18 double eyelets (36 holes in all).  They have a cap toe with brogue type perforations, The leather soles are sewn in and the heels are hobnail attached.  They are gold stamped “Walk Over Trade Mark Apl U.S. Pat. Off.”.  Walk Over was founded in 1874 and was a major US shoe and boot manufacturer.

Sizing: There is no indicated size and although these antique boots should fit a modern US size 5 with a narrow width (A/B), please note the following measurements for fit.  The soles measure 9 3/4” in length from tip of toe’s sew-line to the back of heel and have a width of 2 3/4” at the widest area, between sew lines.  The boots have a height of 8 5/8” and the heels have a height of 1”.  The top measures 6 3/4” around from eyelet to eyelet. .

Condition:  These antique boots are in very good condition - there is patina to the exterior leather, but this can be treated with a proper polishing.  The soles demonstrate fairly light wear.
