This is a vintage 1950s dressing gown / lounging robe made of a burgundy toned purple coloured wool. This vintage 1950s dressing gown has pads in its shoulders, shawl lapels, turned cuffs, and patch pockets at either side and at the left chest, all trimmed in purple and white candy cane striped roping. It closes with a matching wool sash belt. It is unlined.

Sizing: Size M is indicated on this dressing gown and although this should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 19” across, between shoulder/sleeve seams
Sleeves: 25” long from the shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/2” long
Chest: 47” around, taken under the arms
Waist: 48” around, uncinched, but meant to be cinched with the belt
Overall length: 50” measured from the back neck seam to the hemline
Condition: This vintage 1950s dressing gown is in very good condition (with no pronounced wear, tear, holes, stains or odour - this has been very well preserved.
