This is a gorgeous vintage 1980s Heinrich R Hrdlicka shawl. The shawl is printed with artwork that is signed “Heinrich R Hrdlicka 84-23-7". Hrdlicka was an Austrian architect and designer. The image appears to be influenced by elements of the Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite art movements, with fantastical depictions of women, winged angels, floral or fan forms and butterflies. It is printed in tones of pink, ombré grey, violet and ochre gold with black outlining.
Sizing: This Heinrich R Hrdlicka shawl measures 54” by 56”.
