1990s two piece ladies burgundy or wine pant suit by renowned designer Jean-Paul Gaultier. The suit consists of a jacket and pants and features the innovative detail that Gaultier is known for. The neck, cuffs and the pockets are covered in leather. The buttons do up to the back of the opposite flap and are represented by a vertical stitch when done up. In contrast to the fitted body of the jacket, the pants have a wide leg. The pants are made in a hip hugger style with its own rope fabric belt. The jacket has a high set medium width notched lapel. There is a pocket built into either side and at the left breast. The shoulders are padded and the jacket is lined in black rayon acetate.
