This is a wonderful 1920s flapper clutch evening bag featuring a geometric art deco pattern in silver and black glass bugle beads.  The interior is one compartment that is lined in a black moiré fabric.  This 1920s flapper clutch has a front flap that snaps shut - the flap is edged with seed pearls.  It has a wrist strap sewn onto its back that one would use to hold the purse on one’s hand.  These were used at a time when a woman only needed to carry minimal necessities with her on a night out on the town - makeup, money and keys.

Label: No label, but probably made in France

Size:  6” in width at its widest with a height of 4”.

Condition: This 1920s flapper clutch is in very good condition with no obvious defect - it looks like it was well cared for over the years and really presents itself very well.
