1960s Orange Dress Michel Pelta for Renee Farell Paris 1967
$195.00
Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing
This is a 1960s orange dress that was designed by Michel Pelta for Renee Farell. I acquired this 1960s orange dress from the original owner, who told me that she bought this in Paris in 1967 to wear on the Empress of France cruise ship for the voyage back to Canada. The dress has a standing collar that closes with a silver toned flower form button. It does up the front with a nylon zipper and has a pocket built into either side of the front. It has long sleeves with cuffs that are closed with a flower form button like that which is on the collar. The back of this 1960s orange dress has a deep box pleat that runs from above the waistline to the hemline. The dress is lined in orange acetate.
Label: Création Michel Pelta Pour Renée Farell Paris. Michel Pelta was a Parisian designer active during the 60s and 70s. Renée Farell was a fashion boutique located at 16 rue Auber, established in 1956.
