1980s Vintage Judith Ann Creations Dress Indian Silk Size M

This is a wonderful 100% silk vintage Judith Ann Creations dress made in India.  The silk is in a striking purple tone and is printed with an ornate floral pattern in tones of blue, pink, teal, orange, red, and black.  The print is decorated with teal, pink, blue and gold sequins and the neck line is beaded with gold and navy blue toned glass bugle beads.  This vintage Judith Ann Creations dress has large pads in the shoulders, a “jewel” or “crew” neckline, somewhat batwing cut sleeves, pleated gathering below the hips and a full skirt that falls in drapes.  This vintage Judith Ann Creations dress is fully lined in a purple lightweight silk and closes at the back neck with a hook and eye.

Sizing: Size M for medium is indicated, but please note the following measurements for fit, taking into account the 1980s style of this vintage Judith Ann Creations dress:

Sleeves:  21” from shoulder pad

Bust: 52” around, taken under the sleeve - note that the shape of the sleeve makes the bust appear larger than it is

Waist:  48” around, meant to fall loosely

Hips:  40” around at the gathered pleating

Length:  49”

Condition:  This vintage Judith Ann Creations dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour except for soiling to the label - looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
