1980s Vintage Linen Jacket - Yves St. Laurent - Rive Gauche

This is a super quality early 1980s era orange linen jacket made in France by Yves Saint Laurent Paris. The jacket is trimmed in black linen and black roping. As you can see from the photos, the jacket is highly constructed. It has a scalloped open edge and the front is longer than the back. The shoulders are padded and the sleeves are longer than the body of the jacket. There are no closures and the jacket unlined.

Sizing: The jacket is missing its size label, and although this should fit a small to smaller medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into consideration:

Shoulders: 16 1/2” across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam

Sleeves: 22 1/2” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/2”

Bust: 38” around, with a normal gap at the opening

Waist: 32” around

Length: 21” at the front and 16” at the back, measured flat

Condition: It is in excellent condition - very clean and looks like it saw little or no use. This has been well kept and stored over the years.
