American Art Nouveau Perfume Bottle Steuben Red Glass w Sterling Silver Overlay Alvin Mfg

This is a lovely antique perfume or scent bottle that is made of red glass with sterling silver overlay. The overlay is stamped Sterling and although there is no makers mark, I believe that this was made by Steuben of Corning, NY with silver overlay by Alvin Mfg. of Providence, RI. The bottle has a height of 3 5/8 to the top of the stopper and a height of 2 3/8, exclusive of the stopper. The piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but the silver overlay does have some small scratches or tarnish marks, more noticeable in the photos that in actual viewing due to scale and lighting - please view all of the close-up photos, noting that the view is enlarged so the defect is also enlarged. This is a beautiful piece of red glass perfume bottle - lovely display piece!
