Art Deco Grafton China Cup & Saucer Manor Pattern AB Jones Longton

This is an art deco Grafton china cup and saucer, made in the Manor pattern by A.B. Jones of Longton. Both the cup and saucer are decorated with a wonderful pure deco geometric design in tones of orange and brown. The saucer measures 5 3/8 in diameter and the cup has a height of 3 with a top diameter of 3 1/2. The set is in very good condition with no chips or cracks but there are some scratches to the design on the saucer (see close-up photo). In addition, there is a glaze inclusion to the interior bottom of the cup (see close-up photo). The underside of each is stamped with the Grafton mark that was used from 1935 into the 1940s.
