Brand Poppy's Vintage Clothing

An original Borsalino cloche styled hat in an elegant medium grey with taupe striped felt bands.  This hat has a very 1930s style to it.

The hat should fit a size 7 - it measures 22 inches around the interior grosgrain band.  Crown is 5 inches deep and the brim which has a slope to it, is 3 inches at its widest on the right side, 2 1/4 inches at the front and 1 1/2 inches at the back.  Condition is very good, one tiny nibble on the taupe band at the back left hand side.  It also appears that the hat may have been taken in at the back which is why it is pinched in.

Borsalino hats are known for their fine quality felt and they have been in business since 1857.  It is no longer owned by the Borsalino family but continues to exist.
