Raccoon Fur Coat Revillon Paris New York Ladies Size L

This is a gorgeous pre-owned raccoon fur coat made by Revillon and sold at Alexandor Furs of Montreal.  This raccoon fur coat is made with a wide collar that can be worn up or down - you can either leave the top button undone for an open neckline or done up to protect the neck.  It has full cut sleeves that flare wider to the cuffs and closes with three fur clips down the front and a hook and loop at the neck.  It has a leather trimmed slash pocket at either side.  This raccoon fur coat is lined in a quality fabric.

Label: Revillon Paris New York.  Revillon Freres was founded in Paris in 1723 as Maison Givelet and became Revillon Freres in 1839, soon attaining status as the largest fur company in France.  The New York branch was opened in 1878.  Much of their fur supply was sourced from Canada during the 19th century into the 20th century.  They are known as a quality fur house.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this raccoon fur coat, and although it should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurements with a similar raccoon fur coat that you presently own or to your own body measurements, taking the cut of the garment and thickness of fur into account):

Sleeves: 22” from the estimated shoulder

Sleeve inseam: 16”

Chest:  46” around, taken under the arms - 23” across pit-to-pit

Overall length:  44”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam to the bottom

Condition:  This raccoon fur coat is in very good condition with no noted wear.  Raccoon tends to be a fairly robust fur - there are no splits or repairs to the fur pelts and the fur appears fresh - I’m sure that this was kept in cold storage.  Note that the original owner’s name is embroidered on the lining.
