This is a pair of vintage 1920s silk stockings made in a really pretty blue ombre colour. These vintage 1920s silk stockings came with a similar pair of peach pink ombre stockings that still retained their paper labels, which is why I know that they were made by Van Raalte. They would fit an average sized foot, 9 to 9 1/2. They measure 31” from the top to the bottom of the heel and the foot measures 9” in length from the back of the heel to the toe. The top is doubled so as to keep the stockings in place, but I would assume that they would require garters. These vintage 1920s silk stockings are very good condition except for a bit of soiling to the top of one of the stockings (see last close-up photo) - I have not washed these stockings nor have I tried to remove the soiling, but it looks to me like it would come out. These vintage 1920s silk stockings are a great find - flapper hosiery in a very pretty colour!
