Vintage 1930s Comical Golf Coffee Cup Crown Staffordshire Novelty Bone China

This is a novelty bone china coffee can cup and saucer made by Crown Staffordshire of England. Both pieces feature whimsical representations of golfers. The cup measures 2 1/4 in height with a top diameter of 2 while the saucer measures 4 7/8 in diameter. They are marked with the Crown Staffordshire mark used as of the 1930s and hand numbered H16228. Both pieces are in very good condition except for a tiny paint flake on the edge of the saucer, easily touched up (see last close-up photo). This is a wonderful display set - great for the avid golfer........
