This is a slinky vintage 1930s cream coloured silk nightie that is decorated on the bodice with embroidery featuring Chinese lantern motifs.  It has a rounded neckline with notch opening closed with two cloth frog button closures.  The shoulders are decorated with ribbons and there are ties at the back to draw back the waist to create a body accentuated look.  There is a V shaped back neckline that is embroidered underneath the opening.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a woman that fits a size small to medium, please rely on the following measurements for fit, keeping in mind that there are no openings except at the neck and the nightie has to slip over the head:

Bust:  33”-34”

Waist:  32”, meant to be cinched

Hips:  36”

Length:  63”, measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition, very clean with no wear, tear, staining or odour.  This looks like it saw little use and was well kept over the last 85 or so years.
