This is a nice quality pair of 1930s era knit gloves made in an off-white cotton. These knit gloves are in excellent condition and look unused. They were made in England for The Brett Co. Ltd. of Montreal. Brett was a Montreal retailer, specializing in boys wear, located at 1133 St. Catherine St. W. - it closed in 1935. These knit gloves would definitely would fit an adult size, either a ladies’ or mens’ size medium. I wear a size 7 and they easily fit, and my husband tried them on and he takes a size medium glove and they fit him. They have a length of 10” to the middle finger. They measure 3 1/2” across the palm and 7 1/2” around the palm - in addition, there is some stretch due to the knit. The middle finger measures 3 1/8” in length.
This is a wonderful pair of vintage English knit gloves - excellent quality!
