This is a gorgeous 1930s silk peignoir that features dramatic silk chiffon cape sleeves trimmed in marabou. The silk is detailed with silk floral appliqués to the upper front and back as well as on the sleeves. This 1930s silk peignoir folds over and cinches closed with a matching sash belt. It is unlined and made in a full length.

Sizing: No size is indicated, but this 1930s silk peignoir should fit a range of medium sizes - please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 15 1/2” across, estimated due to lack of shoulder seams

Sleeves: 40” long, approximate, depending on how you measure

Bust: 38” around (meant to be slightly loose)

Waist: 38”, depending on overlap and meant to be cinched with sash belt

Hips: 40”, but meant to fall in drapes

Length: 53 1/2”

Condition: This 1930s silk peignoir is in very good condition with the exception of a small mark or stain on the middle back (see last close-up photo) that measures 1/8” in length. I haven’t tried to remove it due to the silk fabric. Otherwise, there is no other wear, tear, staining or odour
