This is a wonderful vintage 1940s or 50s dressing gown made of rose floral pattern printed cotton flannel. This 50s dressing gown has above the wrist length sleeves with a small puff at the shoulder seam, a wing type collar with notched lapels and closes with a hook at the waist along with a matching sash belt. It is cut with a full skirt so that it falls in drapes. There is a patch pocket applied to either lower side. The dressing gown is all hand finished by a seamstress and is unlined - note the close-up photos of the interior seams.
Age: probably 1950s, but possibly 1940s, difficult to know for sure due to it being seamstress made.
Fabric: Lovely quality cotton flannel, very soft and snuggly.
