Vintage 1940s Barkcloth Drapes Asian Chinoiserie Motifs Red Background

This is a wonderful pair of vintage 1940s era barkcloth drapes.  These appear to have seen little use and they are unlined.  They feature a Chinoiserie pattern consisting of two Asian motifs, men inspecting a vase under a slanted roof and another man fishing, again, covered by a structure, amidst trees and flora.  The pattern is printed in shades of  light green, leaf green, yellow, grey, brown, wine, blue, light blue and dropped out white on a red background that is a little to the pink tone. They are pleated at the top.  The bottom hem measures 1 5/8".  Each panel measures 33” in width across the top and 47” across the hemline, and has a length of 68”.  The selvedge is printed with “A Colortested Fabric Reg Appl'd For US Pat Off Best Obtainable Vat Dyes Sanitized”.  This is a very attractive pair of vintage drapes, great in the right decor!
