This is a wonderful 40s era rayon satin nightie.  The nightie has a lace bodice inset with satin floral motifs. It has an empire waist and an affixed matching belt that ties at the back - the belt has a lace piece at the front.  The bottom is also trimmed in lace and there is a notch at the centre bottom.  It has no closures and simply slips over the head.

Sizing: Size tag reads M for medium, but please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 14” across shoulders straps 

Bust:  35” around 

Waist:  30”

Hips:  36”-37”

Length:  59”, measured flat

Condition: It is in excellent condition - it looks like it is unused and was well stored over the years.

This is a very pretty nightie - lovely lace and glamorous style!
