Vintage 1940s Royal Albert Bone China Salad Plate Pink Lady Carlyle

This is a vintage 1940s salad plate made in the pink Lady Carlyle pattern by Royal Albert. The plate is decorated with a floral spray on its centre and decorated with flowers in four cartouches within the pink rim. This plate dates to the 1940s as evidenced by the Royal Albert Crown Bone China backstamp. Lady Carlyle was re-introduced in 1980, but this is the older version originally introduced in 1948 and marked with the registration number of 855022. The plate is trimmed in gold and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or wear and pings beautifully when tapped. The plate measures 8 1/8 in diameter. This is a beautiful display plate, very pretty colour and a nice addition to a set in this pattern!
