This is a pair of early 1950s era black leather gloves made in Western Germany. Western Germany was used from 1950 until 1954, after the U.S. Zone designation and before “West Germany”. They are stamped on the interior, but the stampings are no longer full legible. They are in very good condition, but have seen use - please ignore the crease highlights caused by the photo lighting, these are still very nice. The opening is decorated with piercing and stitching.
Size: They are sized as a 6 1/2, but please rely on the following measurements. They have a length of 7 3/4” to the tip of the middle finger. They measure 3 1/8” across the palm - although there is some stretch, please be aware of this measurement, perhaps measure another pair of gloves that you may own. The middle finger measures 3” in length.
The leather is of very nice quality, soft and supple….nice pair of vintage gloves…..
