Here's a black raffia straw skirt combined with bands of embroidered floral pattern cotton ribbon.

The label is no longer there, but I have had several of these in the past and they were Made in Italy and were quite popular in the 1950s. 

It has an elasticized waistband.  Please rely on the following measurements for fit, all given in inches first and then in centimeters.

Waist:  unstretched     24 in - 61 cm

           stretched          30 in - 76 cm

Hips:                            48 in - 122 cm

Overall Length:            25 1/2 in = 65 cm

It is in very good condition, there is one area in the 4th row of raffia where there is a very slight separation, otherwise sound, raffia is very supple and the cotton ribbon bands are in excellent condition.

Lovely example from the 1950s, great for Viva Las Vegas!
