This is a sparkly 1950s cocktail dress dating most likely to the late 1950s or possibly early 1960s. This 1950s cocktail dress is made in a mid-calf sleeveless sheath style with a jewel neckline. It is covered in black sequins and there are diagonal rows of beaded fringe down the dress. It does up the back with a metal zipper and is fully lined with rayon viscose.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1950s cocktail dress should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 14 1/2” across the top
Bust: 36”
Waist: 26”
Hips: 36”
Length: 41", measured flat from neckline to hemline
Condition: There are bare areas to the shoulders where the sequins have fallen off (see last close-up photo). I assume that there is the odd sequin missing here and there on the dress, but nothing noticeable. This dress presents itself very well and with a bit of work adding sequins to the shoulders would be perfect.
