This is a silk twill scarf made by the venerable firm Liberty of London.  The scarf features a wonderful graphic of a row of buildings in front of a canal with park benches, I assume a London location.  Each corner has an illustration of a swan surrounded by a wreath.

Age: 1950s,

Label: No label, but printed with “Liberty of London Made in England” within the print background at the bottom right corner

Color: Brown, black and dropped out white against a somewhat teal blue background

Material: Silk

Size: 25 1/2” by 26 1/2”

Condition:  It is in very good condition, pre-owned, but with no staining, odour or tears - there are a few small silk separations at one edge, but nothing pronounced.

This is an interesting Liberty scarf with a wonderful period illustrated design…..nice addition to a collection!
