This is a wonderful 1950s taffeta dress that is trimmed with black velvet. This 1950s taffeta dress has fairly large shoulder pads, wide lapels, elbow length sleeves with turned velvet cuffs and an eight velvet button front.. There are no loops for a belt, but you could accessorize a belt should you wish. This dress was photographed with a crinoline - the use of a crinoline creates a fuller look although it’s not absolutely necessary. The dress closes with a zipper at the left side.

Sizing: Although this is tagged as a size 11 and should fit a medium size with a small waist and larger bust, please note the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 16 1/2”
Sleeves: 13 1/2”
Sleeve inseam: 7 1/2”
Bust: 40”
Waist: 26”
Hips: 40” (meant to be full and fall loosely/flare out)
Length: 43”, measured flat
Condition: This 1950s taffeta dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour.
