This is a vintage 1960s cocktail dress made of a very dark blue silk with black satin diagonal ribbing.  It is constructed with a single shoulder strap that runs diagonally from the centre bodice to the left shoulder.  It has a below the knee length.  The dress does up with a nylon zipper at the back and is lined in blue acetate.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1960s cocktail dress, but the dress should fit a medium size - please rely on the following measurements for fit:   I have pinned it back on my mannequin as it was a bit large on her at the waist.

Bust:  36” around

Waist: 30” around

Hips:  36” around

Length:  40” measured flat from the top of the shoulder strap

Condition:  The dress is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear or staining - this has been well kept over the years.
