This is a wonderful 1960s tent dress. This 1960s tent dress has a shimmery synthetic organza exterior that is printed in a psychedelic influenced pattern consisting of butterflies and flowers. The organza exterior is over an orange coloured acetate base. The dress is sleeveless, has a scoop neckline and the base does up with a metal zipper at the back while the chiffon fastens at the back with a couple of hooks and eyes. It is trimmed in metallic rickrack. The print is in tones of orange, yellow, green, purple, pink and touches of blue.
Maker’s Label: None, most likely seamstress made, but very well made
Sizing: There is no size label, but it should fit a medium size - please note the following measurements for fit, taken for the base fabric, not the chiffon, which simply floats over it:

Waist: 28”
Hips: 38” around, approximate
Overall length: 37”
Condition: This 1960s tent dress is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours. This dress looks like it saw little use and was well cared for and stored over the years.
